As soon as you disembark from the ship, your Ketchikan Alaska fishing journey commences. Sourdough Taxi (907-225-5544) is ready to collect you directly from the cruise dock and transport you to Salmon Falls Resort, (Details for ground transportation will be provided in your confirmation email.) Relish the picturesque 20-minute drive north of the City of Ketchikan Alaska along the Tongass Narrows. Your driver, a well-informed local, can provide valuable insights into Ketchikan Alaska’s vibrant history, local customs, and culture. The taxi service charges a flat rate for up to six passengers ($100.00 for a round trip). Upon your arrival at Salmon Falls Resort, our seasoned guide will greet your group at the top of the ramp.

Salmon Falls Resort is situated just 5-10 minutes away from some of the finest salmon fishing spots in Ketchikan, Alaska. This isn’t a pre-packaged tour; we won’t be fishing adjacent to your cruise ship in downtown Ketchikan, Alaska. Besides fishing, you’ll also have the opportunity to witness some of the most stunning landscapes in North America.

Once you’re on our boat, you can leave all your worries behind. We provide all the necessary fishing equipment, bait, and tackle. We utilize cutting-edge equipment, and our boat is equipped with the latest electronic gear designed to locate fish.

Additionally, we’ll have cookies, soda, water, and coffee readily available throughout your charter.

At Salmon Resort, your catch is immediately processed post-charter by our skilled team. From the moment it’s caught until it’s filleted, vacuum-sealed, frozen, and boxed, your catch will be kept on ice.

The processing fees at Salmon Falls Resort are roughly $3.25 per pound for the final product. Please note that freight charges are additional, and we at Salmon Falls can assist you in estimating these costs.

For your return journey to the Cruise Ship, your Sourdough taxi driver will pre-schedule a pickup time for your group that allows for optimal fishing time and ensures you return to your ship promptly.
