We require a 50% deposit is required at the time of the booking with the remaining balance is due on the day of the trip.

Once we receive your deposit, your rate is secured and will remain unchanged, except in the case of a fuel surge charge, as detailed below.

After your deposit is received, a confirmation of your booking and instructions for ground transportation to our marina will be emailed to you.

Unfortunately, Alaska Ocean Safaris cannot be held accountable for loss of fishing time, accommodation, flight delays, or any other losses resulting from weather conditions or any other circumstances beyond our control.

We provide trip insurance that permits you to cancel your charter 36 hours in advance. The insurance costs 10% of the charter and is non-refundable. It must be chosen at the time of booking.

Alaska Ocean Safaris retains the right to assign you to any of our boats or any boat that complies with our standards. We will not group you with others without your written consent.

Please inform us promptly if you need to cancel. Refunds will be provided for all cancellations made 60 days before the planned trip. Any other cancellations may result in the forfeiture of the deposit, at the discretion of Alaska Ocean Safaris.

We advise our guests to familiarize themselves with basic fish and game rules, bag limits, and size limits prior to booking.

If the charter is cancelled by the captain, the deposit will be refunded.

Fish Processing

Salmon Falls Resort can provide pickup and processing services. After taking pictures at the dock, we start processing the fish. You can choose to have it shipped overnight via FedEx at a later date, or you can opt to collect the packaged fish before your flight departure. This allows guests to check it in as luggage.
